After impressing one and everyone with his blockbuster films like 'Farzand' and 'Fatteshikast', the Maratha history enthusiast is Digpal Lanjekar is all set to make his debut in Bollywood industry.
Yes! you read it right. In an exclusive interaction with Etimes, filmmaker Digpal Lanjekar said "I took this lockdown positively and made the best use of time. I was working on the script of my upcoming Bollywood film which is based on the backdrop of pre-independence"
While commenting on the film's title, Digpal revered "I think it is it’s too early for me to disclose anything at the moment"
The filmmaker is already rocking the headlines for his upcoming periodic film 'Jungjauhar' which is based on the life of an extraordinary warrior, the great 'Baji Prabhu Deshpande.
Speaking about the same, Digpal said " Jungjauhar' was scheduled to release in June. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, we have decided to wait until the lockdown is lifted. Currently, we are working the film's post-production"
'Jungjauhar' is produced under the banner of Almonds Creation and also produced by Ajay Arekar and Aniruddha Arekar. The film sees Chinmay Mandlekar and Mrinal Kulkarni in key roles.
