Rajeev Pillai and Hareesh Peradi to team up for a suspense thriller - Exclusive

Rajeev Pillai, the handsome hunk of Mollywood has indeed played several memorable characters in Malayalam movies and is definitely a magnificent actor who has a unique style of presenting characters on-screen. Now the actor is all set to play a lead in the upcoming untitled movie which is touted as a suspense thriller.

Speaking exclusively to ETimes, Shanku, who is the assistant director of the Rajeev Pillai starrer said, “It's actually a bilingual project and as of now the dubbing works of the movie are going in full swing.Rajeev Pillai will be playing the lead role in the movie.”

Further, Shanku said that the film is touted as a suspense thriller and is directed by Suryan G. “The movie is shot in two languages Tamil and Malayalam and the shoot was completed in 17 days in Madikeri, Karnataka.” He also said that the name of the film is yet to be decided by the makers.

‘Hridayam’ fame Abhishek Joseph George will be also playing a major role in the Rajeev Pillai starrer as the character named Sadiq. In another exclusive interview with Abhishek, the actor said that Hareesh Peradi will be also playing a lead role along with Rajeev Pillai in the bilingual movie. Abhishek further said that he also has a Tamil film in the pipeline which is titled ‘Idumbankaari’ where he will be playing opposite the actress Sshivada.

Meanwhile, Rajeev Pillai’s previous outing was with the John Abraham starrer Bollywood action entertainer ‘Sathyameva Jayate 2’. The actor also has a host of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes ‘Nindru Kolvaan’, ‘The Legend’, ‘Vivaha Avahanam’, and ‘Salmon 3D’.
