‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ teaser: it’s TIME for Mollywood’s ‘Run Lola Run’

If you’ve ever been fascinated by Tom Tykwer’s classic experimental German thriller ‘Run Lola Run’ (1998), it’s time for Mollywood to explore a similar concept with the upcoming film ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’, starring Siju Wilson and Balu Varghese.

‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ introduces viewers to two young protagonists who find themselves in a desperate race against time. The teaser opens with a narration stating, “Time….everything depends on time,” setting the stage for an intense and fast-paced narrative. The leads, portrayed by Siju Wilson and Balu Varghese, appear to be caught in a predicament that requires them to solve issues within a tight deadline.


While the teaser showcases a somewhat retro editing style and camera work, the core concept of the movie shines through as promising and thrilling. The inspiration from 'Run Lola Run' is evident in 'Pushpaka Vimanam's concept, which revolves around the protagonists’ relentless efforts to beat the clock.

‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ also features Dheeraj Denny and several other talented actors. The screenplay is crafted by Sandeep Sadanandan and Deepu S. Nair, with Rahul Raj composing the music. The cinematography is handled by Ravichandran, and the editing is done by Akhilesh Mohan.
