Prithviraj Sukumaran has successfully completed the first schedule of the highly awaited sequel, "L2 Empuraan." The actor-director took to his official Instagram handle to share the exciting news with fans and the film industry. Along with the announcement, he posted a location picture from the enchanting Ladakh setting, showcasing his dedication as the director of the film.
In the location picture, dressed impeccably in a grey ribbed sweatshirt, a matching jacket, and blue denim trousers, Prithviraj exuded his signature charm while giving instructions to his team, holding the director's mic in hand.

‘L2: Empuraan’, a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster "Lucifer," brings back the dynamic duo of superstar Mohanlal and the multi-talented Prithviraj Sukumaran for their third collaboration. The movie promises to be both a prequel and sequel to its predecessor, delving deeper into the intriguing character of Stephen Nedumpally, also known as Khureshi Ab'Ram, portrayed by Mohanlal.
The star-studded ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Sai Kumar, Baiju Santhosh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, and more, who were pivotal to the success of "Lucifer," will be reprising their respective roles in "L2 Empuraan." Reportedly, the ‘Kaithi’ fame Arjun Das, Shine Tom Chacko, and Rahul Madhav will also be seen playing major roles in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s third directorial venture.
The film's script is penned by actor-writer Murali Gopy, with Deepak Dev composing the music and Sujith Vasudev serving as the director of photography.
As the first schedule concludes, the team is set to embark on the second leg of filming in January 2024. Fans can expect the grand cinematic spectacle of "L2 Empuraan" to grace the screens either by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, promising an action-packed and riveting experience.
