Padmapriya says no to manager
A few months back, Mollywood woke up to a debate on whether to keep managers for artistes. Director M A Nishad had filed a petition against actress Padmapriya and her manager for the undue trouble they created during the shoot of his No 66 Madura Bus.
Recently, the officials from the producers association met the director and actress for a compromise meeting.

During the meeting, we realised there was a communication gap between the two parties, says Sasi Ayyanchira, General Secretary of the association.
He further adds, We are happy that Padmapriya has decided not to keep a manager. She informed us that she will communicate with the producer and director directly.
Nishad is happy with the way things have turned out. I dont have anything personal against Padmapriya. I started my career as a producer in 1996. I know the difficulties that a producer goes through. The problems started when her manager started to dictate things. I couldnt take that and I decided to fight against it, says Nishad.
