Meena returns to Malayalam in Jaya Jose Raj's next

Meena is all set to return to Malayalam after a break post Bro Daddy with Anandapuram Diaries. The film will see her playing the central character of a lawyer. Director Jaya Jose Raj, of Idam fame, says, “It's the story of a woman who overcame tragedies and difficulties in her life to become a lawyer. Meena has never done such a character before and it will be a treat.”
The film which is currently being shot in Wayanad is a family entertainer."While it's a family oriented movie, its premise is set around a college and the imaginary place, Anandapuram. It explores relationships, challenges and what we can achieve in life," says Jaya Jose. The film has two more schedules, one in Kozhikode and another in Ernakulam.

Tamil actor Srikanth will appear as a college lecturer, Manoj K Jayan plays a lawyer. Siddharth Siva, Sudhir Karamana, Jafar Idukki, Meera Nair and Mala Parvathy also feature in the film. Music is by Shaan Rahman and Albert Vijayan. Sajith Purushan is the cinematographer of the movie. The film's story was written by Sasi Gopalan Nair.
"It will be appealing to youngsters and middle-aged people alike. We cover a lot of social issues and women-centric themes," adds the director.
