Mammootty’s ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ to release on this date

The stage is all set and the curtain rises for the legendary superstar Mammootty to return as the intelligent mastermind Sethurama Iyer through the fifth installment of the CBI series. Recently the makers announced that the film is billed as a worldwide theatrical release which is scheduled for May 1. The film is censored with a U/A certificate.

Recently the makers announced that the film is billed as a worldwide theatrical release which is scheduled for May 1. The film is censored with a U/A certificate.

Mammootty announced the release date by taking to his official Facebook handle and sharing a new poster from the film.

Sharing the poster Mammootty penned a note that read, “ ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ releasing worldwide on May 1, 2022.”
As per the reports, the runtime of ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ is supposed to be around 2 hours and 42 minutes. Although this has not been officially confirmed by the makers, the fans are really excited to witness the iconic character Sethurama Iyer on-screen on May 1st.

Helmed by the renowned director K Madhu, the script is penned down by the veteran writer SN Swamy. The writer has already confirmed that the script of ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ will be appealing to both fans and the general audience and he also added that the climax of the film will set a benchmark for future suspense thriller films.
Jagathy Sreekumar will be making his comeback with the fifth installment of the CBI series as the CBI officer character Vikram along with Mukesh who will be essaying the role of the CBI officer Chacko. Saikumar will play the character DYSP Sathyadass in the film.
‘CBI 5: The Brain’ also packs some new actors to the cast list that includes Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, Sudev Nair, Anoop Menon, Kaniha, Malavika Menon, Ramesh Pisharody, Prasanth Alexander, and Renji Panicker.
