Mammootty’s ‘Bazooka’ drops action-packed teaser 24 hours before its grand release

With less than 24 hours to go for its theatrical release, the makers of Bazooka, starring Malayalam megastar Mammootty, have dropped an adrenaline-fueled pre-release teaser, heightening anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike.

The teaser was unveiled by one of the film’s producers, Saregama, on social media platform X with the caption: “Less Than 24 Hours to Go for #Bazooka. Here is the Much Awaited Pre Release Teaser. #Bazooka In Cinemas From Tomorrow.”

Directed by Deeno Dennis, the action thriller promises to be a sleek, stylish ride filled with high-octane sequences and intense performances.

The newly released teaser is light on dialogue but heavy on atmosphere and action, keeping Mammootty’s character shrouded in mystery while highlighting his proficiency with firearms. Without revealing much about his identity, the teaser hints at a power-packed role that could become one of the actor’s most intriguing performances yet.

The film also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon as Benjamin Joshua, the ACP of Cochin, described in the trailer as a no-nonsense cop with a team that operates in perfect sync. Interestingly, Menon’s character appears to share a dynamic partnership with Mammootty’s, with a key line describing the latter as: “He is Mr Nobody but definitely a somebody. Classy, sleek… If you ask me if he is a troublemaker, I don’t think so, because that’s too simple a word to describe him.”
Divya Pillai and Shine Tom Chacko also play significant roles as Annie Benjamin and Franco Salvatore, respectively.
Bazooka boasts music by Midhun Mukundan, cinematography by Nimish Ravi, and editing by Nishadh Yusuf. The film hits cinemas on April 10.
