Malayalam film ‘Vaazha’ faces criticism after OTT release; Amith Mohan and Siju Sunny respond

After its successful run in the theatres, Anand Menen’s directorial Malayalam film ‘Vaazha - The Biopic of a Billion Boys’ is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Following its OTT premiere, the film is receiving criticism about the acting chops of Amith Mohan, especially in a crucial scene in the film.

Amith Mohan, who essayed the role of Vishnu Radhakrishnan, one of the central characters in the film, has now reacted to the recent criticism. The actor dropped a picture of him smiling, and also shared a glimpse of the scene from the film which is in question and wrote, “On Air! I respect every opinion.”


He also responded, with a phrase “tonnes of air”. The screenwriter of ‘Vaazha’, Vipin Das, who has previously helmed the blockbuster ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ too reacted to the post and said, “Fly high.”
