Makers of ‘Cicada’ reunite for ‘Nebula Dreams’

The makers of ‘Cicada’ are reuniting for their next titled ‘Nebula Dreams’. Theerna Films and Entertainment, who bankrolled for ‘Cicada’, announced their next during a post-release event held in Kochi.

‘Nebula Dreams’, directed by Sreejith Edavana and scripted by Jerry James, is touted to be a fantasy film with all the commercial elements. The makers have kept other details regarding the cast, crew and the plot under wraps.

Sreejith Edavana debuted in the Malayalam film industry as a playback singer with the 2015 film ‘Madhura Naranga’. His maiden venture as a music director was for the 2018 film ‘Shikkari Shambhu’ starring Kunchacko Boban. ‘Cicada’ marked his debut directorial, and the film features Rajith CR, Gayathry Mayoora, and Jaise Jose in the lead roles.


Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Cicada’ hosted an event in Kochi recently, as the film completed 25 days in the theatres. The production house presented mementos to the cast, crew, technicians, theater owners, area managers, and others associated with the project, during the event.
