Congratulations are in order for Mollywood actor Roshan Basheer. The young actor who essayed the villain in Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Drishyam’ will be entering wedlock next month. Roshan Basheer has found the love of his life. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, Roshan Basheer revealed that he will be tying the knot with Farzana on August 5. “If the scenario doesn’t worsen further, I will be getting hitched to my love on the 5th of August,” Roshan said.

Speaking about his fiancee, Roshan added, “Farzana has just completed LLB. The proposal was purely arranged.”
Roshan also revealed that his fiancee is Megastar Mammootty’s relative. “Farzana is the granddaughter of Mammootty’s uncle. My sister knew her very well. I have also met her a couple of times earlier. Our families decided and later we fell in love!” Roshan said opening up about his love story.

A native of Kozhikode, Roshan Basheer entered showbiz through the Malayalam movie 'Plus Two'. After appearing in a few movies including 'Innanu Aa Kalyanam', 'Banking Hours', and 'Red Wine' among others, he bagged an opportunity in Jeethu Joseph's directorial 'Drishyam'. Roshan essayed the antagonist Varun Prabhakar, the son of IG Geetha Prabhakar (Asha Sarath) in the movie. The family thriller became a blockbuster and Roshan Basheer grabbed the attention of the audience. The young actor also appeared in the Tamil and Telugu remakes of 'Drishyam'. After the movie, Roshan started focusing on more Tamil and Telugu movies. His last release was 'Bairavaa' starring Vijay. Speaking to us, Roshan has revealed that he will be romancing the ‘RX 100’ fame actress Payal Rajput for an upcoming Telugu movie titled ‘5 W’s’.
