Good news for cinephiles who missed the theatrical experience of the much-anticipated Lukman Avaran starrer, 'Corona Dhavan.' The comedy film is now making its way to the digital platform, set to grace mini-screens on Saina Play OTT from October 20 onwards.
Initially hitting the silver screen on August 4, 'Corona Dhavan' faced some hurdles in drawing audiences due to what many consider to be lackluster promotional efforts.
However, it seems that the movie will get much traction from the audiences after its OTT release.

Directed by C.C. Nithin in his directorial debut and penned by Sujai Mohanraj, 'Corona Dhavan' features Lukman Avaran and Sreenath Bhasi in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes talented actors such as Johny Antony, Irshad Ali, Sruthy Jayan, Seema G. Nair, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Shivaji Guruvayoor, and
Sunil Sukhada.
Originally titled 'Corona Jawan,' the film's journey to the screens faced a slight hurdle when the
Central Board of Film Certification requested a title alteration.
The film's narrative unfolds in the rustic setting of 'Anathadam,' a village gripped by the challenges of alcoholics attempting to put out their thirst for liquor during the COVID-19 lockdown. The storyline promises a rollercoaster of laughter and emotions as it delves into the lives of these unconventional protagonists. Most of the reviews for the Lukman Avaran starrer were highly positive as majority of them were able to relate to the content delivered in the movie.
Janeesh Jayanandan takes charge of the cinematography, ensuring a visually captivating experience, while Ajeesh Anand's editing keeps the pacing sharp and engaging. Riji Joseph's musical compositions and Bibin Ashok's background score add depth and charm to the film's atmosphere.
