Actress Nikhila Vimal’s sister, Akhila Vimal, has taken a significant spiritual step by embracing sanyas. Akhila shared a picture on social media a few days ago, dressed in traditional sanyasi attire, which sparked curiosity among her followers.


The mystery surrounding her decision was recently clarified through a post by her guru, Abhinav Balānandabhairava, on Facebook. In the post, Abhinav revealed that Akhila, who is now known as Avanthika Bharathi, received sanyas from the esteemed Juna Peethadhishwar Acharya Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Avadheshananda Giri Maharaj. The photo shared by Abhinav showed Akhila in a saffron headpiece and attire, reflecting the solemnity of her spiritual commitment.
