After the 95 day-break, Tsunami, helmed by Lal Jr, resumed its shoot on Monday in Kochi. The shooting was held at a cafe in Kacheripady following all the safety protocols issued by the government. "We hadaltered the script a bit to be able to shoot more scenes indoor, which is what the government has given the go-ahead for. Now, we have fewer outdoor scenes than in the original screenplay.
We will now wait for government instructions to go ahead with that," says Aneesh Perumpilavu, executive producer of the movie.
The team started with sequences with actors Balu Varghese and
Aju Varghese. "Only 50 members are allowed at the set,” said Aju. "From 150 members, we reduced our crew number to 50. So there is some pressure, but we are ready to take it on. We feel blessed to resume the shoot," says Aju.
The film, with
Balu Varghese playing the lead, had its initial shoot in Thrissur. "We expect to complete the shoot in 12 days; all of us will go on quarantine after that," adds Aneesh.
