Adil Hussain has become the latest celebrity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The prominent actor on Sunday received the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. The 57-year-old actor received the first jab of the vaccine from Anegundi Health Centre, a primary health center, near Hampi in Karnataka, and shared the news on Twitter.

In his Instagram note, Adil Hussain shared that the health center was ‘extremely clean’ and ‘efficient’.

One of the seasoned actors in India, Adil Hussain has also made his mark in Malayalam, alongside Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Bollywood, and Hollywood films. The veteran actor marked his debut in Mollywood with the 2017 release ‘Naval Enna Jewel’.
Meanwhile, Adil Hussain was recently shooting for ‘Footprints on water’, a British-Indian film directed by Nathalia Syam. Mollywood’s exceptional actors Lena and Nimisha Sajayan are also part of the cast. The film revolves around an illegal immigrant family living in London and how their lives upend as their daughter goes missing. Adil Hussain has roped in to play the lead role of the father and Nimisha Sajayan is playing the daughter. Lena has stepped into the shoes of the step-mom for the film.
Adil Hussain has also signed up for ‘Ram’, an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Jeethu Joseph. He will be playing a pivotal role in the film, which has Mohanlal in the lead. The actor has also shot a few portions of the film last year, but the team had to temporarily put a halt, due to the ongoing pandemic.
