The Mozart of Madras, Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman will be given an honorary doctorate this October 24 from Berklee College of Music. The fuction will have a 60-piece Berklee student-and-faculty ensemble paying tribute to Rahman’s two decade-long musical legacy, which includes his film songs and his compositions for the 2012 Olympic Games and international collaborations.
