Yamuna Srinidhi heads to Tollywood with Kranthi

As actress Yamuna Srinidhi continues to make her presence felt both on the silver screen and small screen, she has now forayed into the Telugu industry with the movie Kranthi, which has Rakendu Mouli in the lead role. The actress is back in Bengaluru after wrapping her portions of the shoot in Kakinada.
The actress says, “I play the role of an inspirational mother who stands by her son when he is going through the worst phase of his life, which is depression. She treats her son like a friend which makes him share everything about his life. I am glad that I got to work with the young team which is full of exuberance and has new content for the Telugu industry. My husband is from Hyderabad. When I was in USA, I used to interact a lot with his friends, so I am proficient in Telugu and that makes it easy to shoot.”
Yamuna will also be seen in a pivotal role in the movie Shivappa, which has Shivarajkumar and Prithvi Ambaar in the lead roles. “I essay the role of a woman who sells flowers to eke out a living. She does her work honestly and leaves the rest to God,” says the actress, who balances her work for the Kannada show Manasaare along with her films.
