Why Supritha does not promote her films?

Isn’t it strange that an actor/actress often shies away from promoting his/her own films? At a time when millions are spent on film promotion, and actors and actresses go extra mile to create pre-release buzz, one Kannada actress is simply refusing to promote her films.
The actress in question is none-other-than Kannada actress Supritha. Apparently, Supritha is “legendary” for not turning up during promotional events of her films.
The makers of the recently released Kavery Nagar faced lot of problems getting Supritha to promote the film. The director of the film Ravimanjunath rued the fact that it was hard to convince the actress to promote the film.
However, Kannada film industry sources say Supritha is always punctual on sets, but only during promotional schedules she always remains missing.
The team of Nenapinangala also faced similar fate. The actress was conspicuous by her absence during the film promotions. Later on she promoted the film through a video conference. Now, one wonders what producers of films have to do to convince Supritha to promote her own ventures?
