And as it turns out, this announcement also let slip that Vikram will not only make his debut in Sandalwood, but also across the south and B-town, with the film getting Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi versions as well.
“While we have shot the film in Kannada, the product and the casting got us to look at it as something with potential in other industries too. We have an ensemble cast, with members from most of these industries. For instance, Jayapraksh is a popular name in Tamil cinema, while Tulasi is a known face in Tollywood. Of course, Rohit Roy is well-known in B-town circles,” says Vikram.
Director HS Sahana Murthy adds that the team is now looking at putting together a good technical team to work on the dubbed versions. “The dubbed versions will be worked on after we complete work on the Kannada version,” says the filmmaker. As for the two pending songs, Vikram tells us that they are looking at Kashmir and Ladakh for one, while the other will be picturised on a set.
