Kannada comedy film Mr Rani, starring Deepak Subramanya and Parvati Nair, directed by Madhu Chandra, is releasing on Friday (February 7). The plot revolves around Raja (played by Deepak), who is passionate about acting. His love for the craft deepens as he grows older, but his parents want him to pursue engineering. Madhu says that the inspiration for the film is from the story of every home. “I have seen people who aspire to become actors end up being something else,” he says, adding that this was a story relatable to many.
