Run, Charlie, Run… your fans are behind you!

Guess who’s winning hearts from the film 777 Charlie even before its release? Rakshit Shetty’s co-star, Charlie!
The Labrador has been capturing hearts of fans ever since the first look of the film was released and many want to know his whereabouts.
“Actually, four Charlies were roped in for the film as we wanted dogs of various ages to portray Charlie,” shares director Kiranraj.“The first lab was enlisted when Aravind Iyer was initially part of the project and I had adopted him back then. When Rakshit sir (Shetty) came on board, he was so taken in by Charlie’s antics that he adopted another of them. The other two dogs, even though they were not used in the film, have been adopted by other team members. So, all the Charlies are within the team and were adopted right at the beginning. We are all animal lovers and I have quite a few of them back home. It is my love for animals that made me take up this film in the first place.”

The team is currently busy with release plans of the film and the Charlies are with a caretaker. “They are happy souls and mischievous as ever and all of us on the Charlie group keep getting daily updates on their antics,” wraps up Kiranraj.
