Rockline Venkatesh and brother Bhramaresh travel to Hyderabad to buy time for bail?

The Kannada film industry woke up to the shocking news of FIRs being filed against Rockline Venkatesh, who is one among Sandalwood’s most respected filmmakers. According to a complaint filed by a doctor from Malleswaram, the police state that both Rockline Venkatesh and his brother Bhramaresh, as well as three others, have been booked for assault under Sections 323, 324 and 506-B of the IPC.
In his complaint, Dr Rame Gowda said he had defaulted on a loan repayment to the brothers. When he visited their office, Bhramaresh and three others allegedly assaulted him and threatened him at gunpoint, even as Rockline Venkatesh tried to intervene and stop the clash.
While many of the producer’s friends from the industry refused to comment on the issue, a few others were not even aware of the situation he was in at the time of going to press. However, sources inform Bangalore Times, “Both the brothers are currently not in the city as they fear they may be arrested. Apparently, Rockline Venkatesh had travelled to Hyderabad on some work and is still there. It is possible that their time away from the city will help the brothers get their bail pleas in place.”
