Pradeep Varma is busy with a musical saga

director Pradeep Varma recently began work on his next, Brahmi, yet another female-centric film. The story, he says, is loosely based on one of Beethoven’s symphonies and chronicles the two protagonists’ journey in music. “ is another name for goddess Saraswati. In the film, the two lead characters, played by Suman Nagarkar and Anoosha Krishnan, dedicate their lives to music.But what happens when that aspect of their lives is taken away from them and how they deal with it, forms the rest of the narrative,” he explains.
