Meghana Gaonkar not happy with scripts

Her recent film Charminar may have clocked 100 days, but in spite of its success the film's leading lady Meghana Gaonkar shares that no good scripts have come her way. "Frankly, I'm disappointed with the offers I've got. I'm keeping track of the films I'm getting and until now, I've rejected 19 of them. Most filmmakers have offered me the same role that I played in Charminar.Certain others have come to me with bold scripts in which the role demands smoking, drinking and using cuss words.I'm not comfortable playing bold roles and want to stay away from being typecast," she says. But Meghana is willing to wait for her dream project to come her way. "After I received acclaim for Nam Areal Ondina, I was in a similar dilemma. Nothing caught my fancy. I waited for over two years and that's when Chandru sir said he wanted me for Charminar. So I believe things will happen when they have to," observes the actor.Meanwhile Meghana is busy travelling and doing a lot of television.
