Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep who was last seen in 'Max' recently shared an update regarding his much anticipated upcoming film 'Billa Ranga Baashaa' or simply 'BRB'. He took to his social media where he shared the title and the current production stage of the film.
Shooting begins for 'BRB: The First Blood'
After a couple of delays to this project, Kichcha Sudeep shared news on X (formerly Twitter), about his much-awaited action-adventure film 'Billa
Ranga Baashaa' which is now titled 'BRB: The First Blood' has officially begun shooting on April 16, 2025. The actor shared this update on his social media, revealing that the film is set in the futuristic year 2209 AD.
The film is expected to include a unique sci-fi experience for audiences.
First look at the poster
With his tweet, he shared a poster of the film where he seems to be on an adventure filled with mountains, snow and thrill. He looks to be donning a mountain climbing kit, with snow on his beard. He wrote, "2209 AD - #BRBFirstBlood The journey begins today. To us, this mammoth dream and vision of our team,going on floor is an unparalled excitement."
This announcement comes after an earlier update from Sudeep, who had initially planned to start filming in the second week of March but faced some postponements. Now, with cameras rolling, the project is finally moving forward.
The film marks Sudeep’s second collaboration with director
Anup Bhandari. Their first film together, 'Venkat Rona', was a major hit, and expectations are high for this new venture. The film is described as a grand action-adventure set in a futuristic world, blending high-octane thrills with cutting-edge technology.
As per a report by the New Indian Express 'BRB' will have extensive use of visual effects and custom-designed 3D sets. The production team plans to shoot continuously for 20 to 25 days in these specially created environments, with new sets being built as the story progresses.
