JD’s hunting for actors

JD Chakravarthy has started hunt for a Kannada film. He has put up an ad that reads: ‘No creed, no zero size figure, no six-pack or (need to be) fair-looking. Be yourself. Looks or age is no bar. Remember, we are not giving (you) a chance, but we are taking a chance.’ The ad also said that applicants should email [email protected] before May 30.It is said that JD needs three actors -- two male, and one female. He will announce another casting call for character roles.
JD was supposed to make his Sandalwood debut with the film Kontract, a bilingual film (in Kannada and Telugu) that was to star Action King Arjun Sarja and feature Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba. However, there has been no news about the film since its launch in November 2010.
