Harish Raj vies entry into record books

Harish Raj has put his heart and soul into the making of his next film, Shree Sathyanarayana. The actor, director and producer has tried something unique with this film ' never before has a Kannada movie seen the lead actor play 16 different roles. As the film gears up for release early next month, the makers have approached the Limca Book of Records for the unique distinction of a single person acting in 16 roles in the same movie.'I didn't even think about records while making the movie. It was Prakruthi N Banavasi, who is doing the subtitling work for the film, who suggested that we approach the record book officials. I hadn't thought along those lines at all since each character has a screen time of only a few minutes. Prakruthi said, 'Why are you so laidback about this and not pushing to get an entry into the record book?' That's when I thought that I should take a chance,' says Harish. Once the officials watch the movie and all the submissions are verified, it is likely to be included in the 2017 Limca Book of Records.
