Basking in the glow of his marriage to actor Hariprriya in January, Vasishta N Simha is back in the throes of action as he woos the Telugu and Tamil film industry. Thus, the newly-weds are finding little time for each other due to his hectic film schedule.

So, his wife Hariprriya did the next best thing - She surprised him on the sets of his Telugu film Yevam, and even cooked a meal for ‘hubby dearest,’ and the crew! “It’s been over two months since our marriage, and work has been hectic. Thus, we couldn’t spend much time together. Hariprriya visited me on the sets of Yevam in Vikarabad during a night shoot which was a pleasant surprise,” he said.
She cooked for us on the sets. We are trying our best to be there for each other. Yet, our personal life has taken a backseat because of prior acting commitments,” Vasishta reveals.
Wooing the Telugu industry
Vasishta is busy with Telugu film Yevam, helmed by Navdeep, which sees Mohan Bhagath and Chandini Chowdary in lead roles, The actor was last seen in Telugu film Odela Railway Station. About Yevam, Vasishta says, “It’s a psychological thriller which offers a lot of space to my character who has different shades, that drive the story forward.”
‘I put in the same effort irrespective of language
The actor also makes his Tamil debut with Wolf, and avers that acting crosses borders, and is inherently about talent. “I put in the same effort irrespective of language. Honestly, it’s the talent that matters. If a particular actor can do justice to a character and the script demands it, there’s no harm in casting actors, irrespective of background. As actors, our job is to prove our mettle,” he says.
