Ekta plays a college girl in BMW

Model-turned-actress Ekta Rathod had an entertaining cameo in the Yash-starrer Masterpiece, in which she was pitted against Chikkanna in the college elections episode. Coincidentally, she will act alongside Chikkanna in her second film, BMW, as well. Ekta will be seen romancing Praveen Tej of Simpallag Innondh Love Story fame, while Chikkanna rounds off the comic triangle in her love story.
'This is a college caper and captures the fun and highs of student life. I play one of the leads of the film. I landed this movie after an audition and the story and fun aspect appealed to me,' says Ekta about the film, which will also be her first in a lead role, since her debut saw her doing a sexy cameo.
