A new film, titled Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara, was launched last week at Kanteerva Studio, and the filmmakers have revealed that the film is about love and friendship which centers on the lives of three bachelors. Although the 1988 film by the same name starred
Ambareesh, Anant Nag and Ravichandran, the new film stars seven relatively newbies. Sunil, Anjan Dev and
Preetham Puneeth play are the male leads, while Meghana, Jeevitha, Sanjana and Aishwarya are the female leads.
Produced by Mysore Krishna, and directed by first-time director Swaroop, the music of
Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara has been composed by award-winning music director Anoop Seelin.
Bangalore Times had reported earlier this year that actress
Roopa Nataraj, who made it to the headlines for her bold appearance in the photo shoot of
Mysore Mallige, will do a cameo in the film.
When asked why he picked to name his film after the hugely successful 1988 hit, Swaroop had said, “The film is no way related to the yesteryear film
Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara. Since the title of the film was apt to the script, I decided to keep the same title.”
