Dr. Vishnuvardhan's eleventh death anniversary is being commemorated by many people. Keeping up with their ritual, many fans were spotted today at the Abhiman Studio where they gathered in large numbers to visit the cremation site of the late actor and pay their sincere respects.
It is a well-known fact that a memorial site for Dr. Vishnuvardhan is currently being conceived in Mysuru and after a long crusade, the foundation stone for the site was laid earlier this year in September.

Dr. Vishnu's wife Bharathi Vishnuvardhan was present in Mysuru today along with their entire family to perform a puja at the memorial site and during the time, she was able to speak to the media for a short while.
For obvious reasons, the media wondered about her thoughts on the recent vandalism issue and a few other matters concerning her late husband. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, who obviously had some time to reflect on the recently transpired incident, spoke in a tone of great maturity and wisdom and touched upon the broader aspects of everything.
"It is necessary that people discuss Dr. Vishnuvardhan and that's the only way people learn about him. The recent vandalism incident got the entire industry commenting on it and I would like to thank everyone for that. It does prove that Vishnu resides in everyone's hearts (sic)," said the yesteryear actress.
When questioned again about the incident, she restated her perspective and said that the deeds of the miscreants don't necessarily warrant a reaction from her or anybody else. She added: "Let's not look at it as an insult, we need to consider it as a blessing in disguise. One always needs those who criticize them because that's how we grow (sic).".
Since the occurrence of the incident on the 26th of December, there have been consistent demands from all sides for justice. However, one can now hope that Bharathi Vishnuvardhan's discernment will help everyone to move forward and put the matter behind. As reported already by ETimes, the new statue is being constructed at a very short distance from the previous site and Dr. Vishnuvardhan's son-in-law and actor Aniruddh laid the foundation stone on Monday (28th of December) at the new spot.
