Actress Anu Prabhakar Mukherjee tests positive for COVID-19

Kannada actress Anu Prabhakar Mukherjee who has been spreading messages on Covid protocols and guidelines, tested positive for Covid and has shared her health status with her fans and followers. She also updated everyone about the health status of her family members and added that everyone else has tested negative. She also urged those in contact with her to get themselves tested.
She posted, "In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID 19. Following all essential protocols, I am in isolation and taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. The rest of my family has tested negative. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Please don’t take this second wave lightly. Stay home Stay safe. #anuprabhakarmukherjee #anuprabhakar"

This note comes a few days after she had posted a detailed video on keeping safe and preventing contracting the virus. There has been a sudden spike in the number of Corona positive cases in Bengaluru over the past fortnight and currently there are as many as nearly 3000 cases being reported daily in the city and many from the Kannada industry have been falling prey to the virus.
