Even though BTS as a group has been on hiatus for the longest time, it hasn’t stopped them from breaking one record after the other. 5 out of the six members are still in military service, and the remaining two, Jin and J-Hope, are both more heavily focused on solo activities. This still hasn’t stopped them from becoming the first K-pop act to surpass 1.28 billion streams in 2025.

BTS achieves another milestone.

As netizens discovered that the band had reached this milestone, a wide range of reactions started circulating online, congratulating the band on its’ success.
Made possible solely on the bond that the group has with their fans and on their global significance, BTS managed to achieve this feat even during the year that the group has supposedly remained ‘inactive.’
BTS ARMY took to various social media platforms and fan forums to express their excitement and celebrate the momentous occasion with one another.

When will BTS members reunite?

The major news comes in the wake of the group’s reunion as well as their 12th anniversary. According to the schedule as quoted by Pinkvilla, RM and V will get discharged from their mandatory service on June 10. Jimin and Jungkook will finish their enlistment on June 11, and finally SUGA will return from military service on June 21.

Current projects

As of right now, BTS members’ Jimin, V, Jungkook, Suga, and RM are in the last stages of their military services. On the other hand, Jin and J-Hope are both finished with their mandatory services and are focusing more on solo promotional activities. Jin is even all set to release his second mini-EP, ‘Echo,’ in May and is also preparing for a solo tour from June to August. J-Hope is majorly focusing on his ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE 2025’ world tour.
