Manava asked me to play the role and I agreed. It’s great to see that my friends see a different side to me.”

So has he done these roles for free, like most actors do it for their friends? He said, “Why will I do that? Ofcourse, I charged them. They came to me because I fit the role. And I keep my friendship and my work separate.”
Apart from Marathi films, Swanand mentioned that he is doing four Hindi films including Prakash Jha’s next, Vivek Agnihotri’s Freedom, Anurag Kashyap’s Ghoomketu and Rohan Sippy’s film.
