Sonu Nigam plays a happy sweeper in special song

Sonu Nigam is currently shooting in Panipat at an institute of engineering and technology for a special song. The singer was amused to see a video of his performance, shot by a fan. The clip shows Sonu dressed as a cleaner who is cheerful and in high spirits, something the singer believes holds true in real life as well.
Sonu, who was shooting a video that focusses on the nostalgia of college and friendships at the institute, believes that having the right spirit matters the most.He says, “In life one must have the zeal to succeed and work hard no matter how arduous the situation. Even a cleaner who works so hard has a smile on his face and that’s how one must go through hardships.”
The song Sonu is shooting for is based on dosti and yaari, it is composed by Vibhas, while the lyrics are by Sonu Sagu. The single is expected to release in January, next year.
Nigam is currently dabbling with playback singing, singles, shows and overseas collaborations with the likes of Grammy-award-winning music producer Jason Goldstein (they’ve worked on the new single ‘Hall Of Fame’) believes this phase in his career is one in where he has to work harder than ever before.
Sonu is also expected to fly to Shanghai for a show and his new track called ‘OMT’ with Shannon K is on the verge of release, too.
