Shankar Mahadevan undergoes angioplasty

Singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan was rushed to a Delhi hospital last week after he complained of chest pain.
His son Siddharth said, “It was mainly due to exhaustion. Dad underwent angioplasty on the first day itself when he was hospitalised. Thankfully, there weren’t any major blockages. He is recuperating well and the doctors said he would be discharged within a day or two.”

Shankar was scheduled to perform at a charity event in Mumbai later this week, but has now been replaced by Sonu Nigam.Here’s wishing the 'Breathless' singer a speedy recovery.
