Plot Summary

Kahani and Nirbhay meet in Goa and fall in love. They get married soon after and to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, they head back to the place they fell in love at- Goa. Kahani reaches ahead of Nirbhay, who stays back for a meeting and is supposed to join her in the evening.

However, Nirbhay is offered a much better job by one of the visiting companies, in the meeting and has to miss his flight due to the job interview. But Kahani is in no mood to listen to his explanation and is disappointed at him having missed their anniversary celebration. Though Nirbhay promises to reach Goa for dinner, Kahani switches off the phone and goes to bed.

A while later the bell rings. Thinking Nirbhay’s home, Kahani goes to open the door but finds another man at the doorstep. After failing to identify him, Kahani drives the man out only to realise that it is Nagarjun, the author of a book she’s reading. She apologises to him and takes him in. In Nagarjun, Kahani finds a friend- someone who explains to her the true meaning of love through ample anecdotes and philosophical musings. The two even venture around Goa and see various types of couples- some cheating, some uninterested, some genuinely passionate and in love.

All of this makes Kahani realise that her anger over Nirbhay is not justified. The bell rings again, this time actually waking up Kahani from her dream encounter with Nagarjun. She finds Birbhay at the door and the two spend the remaining time of their wedding anniversary together.
