Varun Dhawan is celebrating his 35th birthday today. On his special day, his fans and friends from the industry have flooded social media with warm wishes. Varun, who made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year', once spoke about the late actress
Divya Bharti. Varun has always been surrounded by celebrities as he belongs to a film family.
In an interview, Varun once recalled how Divya Bharti made an omelette for him, during the shoot of 'Shola Aur Shabnam', which was directed by his dad
David Dhawan. The film also starred
Govinda, Alok Nath, Gulshan Grover, Anupam Kher and others. During the shooting of the film, Varun was 4 years old.
In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, the birthday boy was asked a fan question. He was asked, "If you could go back to the 80s or 90s, which three female actors would you act with?" He replied that first would be Divya Bharti, he said that he would have loved to work with her. He further revealed that he has a childhood memory of her. Varun said that he was crying back then as he was hungry, and Divya made an omelette for him on the sets. The actor also took Karisma Kapoor and
Juhi Chawla's names.
Divya Bharti passed away in 1993.
