When Sara Ali Khan said her job as an actor was done before her film released
Sara Ali Khan, who has seen both box office hits and failures since making her debut in 2018, shared her philosophy on acting. Following the release of Love Aaj Kal, the actress addressed the film’s box office performance and shared her perspective on her role as an actor and how she views her job post-filming.
In an interview with News18, “It’s only been a day. I don’t want to say anything too soon. As an actor, I’ve always believed my job is done before the release. My responsibility is to fulfil my director’s vision with complete conviction and honesty, and I feel I’ve done that. Beyond that, it’s up to the audience and media, and I hope they embrace it,” she explained.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Love Aaj Kal opened with an impressive Rs 12.40 crore collection, but saw a decline as mixed reviews poured in, despite the excitement around the on-screen pairing of Sara and Kartik Aaryan.
Sara, however, quickly shifted her focus to her next project, Coolie No. 1, a comedy directed by David Dhawan.
With 'Love Aaj Kal' now behind her, Sara is now looking forward to the release of her upcoming films, including 'Metro In Dino' which will see her starring opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
