Sunny Kaushal has been cautiously treading the terrain in Bollywood. The actor has been choosing scripts that are not only different in terms of genre, but also those that offer him something unique to play in terms of the characters. The actor has not made hurried-up decisions, which explains why he has worked on a handful of projects after Gold, in which he starred as a hockey player.
While his film Bhangra Paa Le released in cinemas last week, he looks forward to his relationship drama, Shiddat.
When asked about the film’s first schedule that wrapped up sometime in December last year, Sunny told us, “We shot Shiddhat for about a month in Glasgow. It was fun to shoot with
Diana Penty,
Radhika Madan and
Mohit Raina. They’re just incredible co-actors. Our director
Kunal Deshmukh is a fantastic craftsman and he’s brilliant with how he extracts performances from all of us. Yes, the weather was completely against us. It was not conducive for us to shoot but the team made it worth staying there for a month and braving the weather. The crew made shooting for Shiddat a lot of fun.”
