Since 'Border 2' was announced, fans have been excitedly waiting to catch hold of Sunny Deol once again in the war drama. The actor and Dutta are teaming up again after 27 years for this sequel. Recently, Deol shared his happiness about this reunion by posting a heartfelt birthday message for JP Dutta, along with throwback pictures from the sets of 'Border'.
The 'Gadar' star posted two throwback clicks on his Instagram with veteran producer JP Dutta.In one picture, the duo is seen sharing a candid moment, while the second post captures them deep in discussion. Fans were excited to see these memories from their previous collaboration as they prepare for the upcoming sequel, 'Border 2'.

The official announcement of 'Border 2' was made earlier this year. Referring it to as ‘India's biggest war film’, Sunny shared an exciting video announcing the return of a ‘soldier’ to fulfill his promise.
Interestingly, today it was officially confirmed that Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, will be part of the upcoming film 'Border 2'. Ahan shared his excitement in a post, stating that Border is not just a movie but a "legacy, an emotion, and a dream realized." He reflected on how his journey began 29 years ago, growing up around stories from OP Dutta and spending moments with family on the set.
In addition, the film will also star Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan in the key roles. The highly-anticipated war drama is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 23, 2026.
