Shyam Benegal watches Hollywood film Big Eyes

Ace film director and screen writer Mr. ShyamBenegal was spotted at a show of BIG EYES, at Worli, Mumbai yesterday.
When asked about his thoughts on the film, he said, “Both, Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz have justified the role, especially Christoph who never seems to disappoint his audience. Over all, the film has been directed very well as I was held by the film till its completion.”
Mr.Benegal further adds, “The atmosphere of the film, the texture and the period when the incident took place have been captured extremely well. I am sure the scripting must have been a task as every detail has been taken into consideration. The film has been shot beautifully.”

BIG EYES has already created a lot of buzz with its early positive reviews and Golden Globe Nominations where, Christoph Waltz has been nominated for the Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, Amy Adams for the Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and Lana Den Rey for the Best Original Song Motion Picture – “BIG EYES”.
BIG EYES, directed by Tim Burton is ready for its India release tomorrow 9th January, 2015.
