Sunil Narine, the highest wicket-taker among overseas spinners in IPL history, played a pivotal role in Kolkata Knight Riders’ two IPL victories. He took 21 wickets in the 2012 season and 24 wickets in 2014, helping KKR secure the coveted IPL titles.
"He's so spirited, so lovely. We're very fortunate to have players, Indian or foreign, who have deep feelings for the team... Sunil, like I said, he's an 'anything' player." Shah Rukh Khan highlighted how important Sunil Narine and Andre Russell are to KKR. He said that if either of them gets injured, it feels like a big setback for the team.
"Imagine KKR without these guys. When they get injured, it feels awful to wonder how we'll manage without them. It's so crucial. They've been with us for so many years, and I think the way they have supported the team, they're like part of the family," states the King Khan.

The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who also made Pathaan, after Sujoy Ghosh exited the project. The movie stars Shah Rukh, his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma. The story is about a mentor and his student going on a dangerous journey where they must rely on each other to survive.
Apart from King, Shah Rukh also has a few more exciting films in the pipeline, including Tiger vs Pathaan, an adventure film with Amar Kaushik, and possible collaborations with Raj & DK and Farah Khan.
