The Bollywood industry, the entire nation is in a state of disbelief, as in the early hours of Thursday the news of Saif Ali Khan being stabbed sent shock waves. It was reported that on Wednesday late night, a burglary attempt was made on Saif Ali Khan’s house, and when the actor tried to handle the situation the aftermath left him with six stab wounds, two of which were particularly severe. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is currently being treated. While the police are doing their due diligence in the matter, fans have taken to social media to express their concern.
Worried fans are praying for Saif’s speedy recovery, while many are still finding it difficult to digest that something so horrible has happened. Many fans have even pointed fingers at the law enforcement system, highlighting that this isn’t the first high-profile crime case that has come up.

Following the incident, there was a lot of buzz. Everyone was curious to know what exactly happened. Therefore, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s teams clarified the situation. Kareena’s team shared, “There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the police are already conducting their investigations. Thank you all for your concern.”
Lilavati Hospital’s COO, Dr. Niraj Uttamani, confirmed Saif’s condition. He mentioned that the 54-year-old actor was stabbed by an unidentified assailant during the attempted robbery. The medical professionals are treating the actor and he is under close observation.
