Rohit Shetty took more than a month to edit the trailer of Singham Again - Exclusive

Rohit Shetty is back on the big screen once again with Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Bajirao Singham in Singham Again. The film is a modern interpretation of the age-old epic Ramayana, with Kareena Kapoor Khan playing Sita, Tiger Shroff as Laxman, Ranveer Singh as Hanuman, Arjun Kapoor as Raavan, Akshay Kumar as Jatayu, and Ajay Devgn as Lord Ram. Deepika Padukone joins the team as Shakti Shetty, fulfilling Rohit’s dream of adding a female cop to his Cop Universe. This will be her first release post the birth of her and Ranveer’s daughter.

The makers released the trailer of the film on Monday, which has received a tremendous response, garnering more than 2 million views in just three hours. The trailer, one of the longest in Hindi cinema, is packed with drama, emotion, and action. It runs for nearly 5 minutes, giving each character a larger-than-life introduction and setting high expectations for the film, which is set to release on 1st November.

ETimes has exclusively learned that it took Rohit a very long time to edit the trailer. A source revealed, “Rohit Sir and the team worked for almost 35 to 40 days to put together the trailer of the film, and it’s probably the longest time he has taken to cut a trailer.”
Singham Again will clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit-Nene.
