Rohit Roy recalls Salman Khan calling him a ‘fat cow’ after he put on weight due to work woes

Rohit Roy has been around in the acting business for over two decades now, making a smooth transition from TV to films and OTT. However in his career, there was a phase when lack of work made him frustrated.
In a recent interview, Rohit opened up about how Salman Khan indirectly led to his physical transformation. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Rohit said that he has been friends with Salman since the age of 15 and Salman would often compare him to Hollywood actor Rock Hudson. A few years back, Rohit met Salman during a TV show and had a heart-to-heart conversation. Rohit shared in the interview, “I told Salman that I’m not happy. I’m trying my best but things are not happening and he looked at me and said you look like a fat cow, even I wouldn’t give you any work.”
Rohit revealed that all the details which Salman shared with him that night led to his ‘complete metamorphosis physically’. Rohit recalled Salman telling him that he could either be the way he is or keep fighting. The actor stated that he was not looking bad but there was scope for improvement. After his physical transformation, Rohit bagged Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil.
