Ranveer Allahbadia apologizes in his first video after controversy; recalls about the 'mushkil' phase

Ranveer Allahbadia, a prominent YouTuber, found himself in hot water following his controversial comments on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent.' After a nearly two-month hiatus, he released a new video on his channel, where he expressed gratitude to his fans and apologized for his previous remarks, vowing to produce more responsible content.
Apology and Reflection
In the video, he apologised while remembering his trial and said, “To all my supporters and well-wishers, thank you. Your positive messages helped me and my family a lot because this phase was extremely difficult. Facing open threats, so much social media hatred, and so many media articles—it was overwhelming. But amidst all that, your messages supported us."
He added, "In life's low moments, you realise that success alone won’t always be with you; you have to face failure too. So many people consider me their son, so many see me as their brother—to them, I sincerely apologise."
He pledged to create content more responsibly and said, "I promise that as long as I create content for the next 20-30 years, I will do it more responsibly. I've understood that I have a huge responsibility on my shoulders. The fact that you all consider me a member of your family is the biggest responsibility. If possible, please make space for me in your hearts again."
Acknowledging Support
Ranveer also expressed heartfelt thanks to his team and crew members, who remained loyal despite the challenges he faced, with none of the 300 members resigning. He also acknowledged the support of actors, sportspersons, and other notable figures who have appeared on his show in the past.
Passion for Content Creation
He further shared, “I love podcasting, I love content creation. Exploring our country’s history and culture is my passion, and that’s what I am doing through my work… I have immense love for our nation’s culture, and I am now trying to write a new story after this full stop. I hope you support me and my team in this journey.”
Mental Health and Spiritual Growth
He credited meditation and prayers for helping him cope when his mental health began to decline. This experience led him to understand that God is the one constant presence in life. Rather than viewing this challenging period as a penalty, he interpreted it as God's way of guiding him to enhance his work.

Ranveer faced severe criticism for his comments about parents and sex on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent.' Despite offering an apology, numerous complaints were lodged against him. Initially, he was prohibited from creating or posting online content. The Supreme Court labeled his comments as "vulgar" and stated that he had a "dirty mind" that brought shame to society. However, the court has recently permitted him to restart his podcast, with the condition that he must avoid discussing the case in his videos.
