Ibrahim Ali Khan, who recently debuted in Nadaaniyan, made news after his alleged reply to a Pakistani critic went viral. Tamur Iqbal claimed Ibrahim messaged him on Instagram after his negative review. Now, the critic says he has been receiving abusive messages from Indians since the incident.
In his new video message, the critic Tamur Iqbal said, “This is an update. 48 hours later, the gaaliyaan, the abusive messages have still not stopped on my Instagram…the threats…predominantly coming from Indian social media users who are still visibly upset about my review." He then urged everyone to ‘take a chill pilland said that Nadaaniyan is just a ‘bad movie.“Don’t turn it into some Indo-Pak rivalry. It’s not. Take a chill pill. It’s just a bad movie, I posted a story about it and it got the attention of Ibrahim Ali Khan, leading to this entire mess," he said.

“On a lighter note, the leading stars should thank me for creating this controversy about a movie which was completely dead and buried. Now at least people might consider watching it again. It’s a terrible, lousy movie. Watch it if you want to destroy your Sunday. And Ibrahim, good luck!" he added.

A few days ago, Tamur Iqbal shared a screenshot of an alleged conversation with Ibrahim Ali Khan. In the chat, Ibrahim reportedly criticized the critic harshly for his Nadaaniyan review, making personal remarks about his appearance and dismissing his opinions. He also allegedly issued a strong warning if they ever crossed paths.

The authenticity of the text exchange remains unverified. While Tamur’s original review is no longer visible on his Instagram, his response and the comments on his post suggest that he had made remarks about the actor’s appearance.
Nadaaniyan features Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, and Jugal Hansraj, among others. The film premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2025.
