Onir to remake Chasme Buddoor!

Everyone is on a remake spree and the latest one to join the bandwagon is Onir (of My Brother Nikhil fame) who will be adapting the classic movie Chasme Buddoor directed by Sai Paranjape, starring Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval and Saeed Jaffrey.
“Though we have bought over the rights, it won’t be a remake, but it will be an adaptation of the earlier film,” reveals Onir.And will he be repeating any of the old star cast? “No, we will have a new star cast for the new film,” he says. Let’s hope, it doesn’t turn up like Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag!
