Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited movie Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash. During a recent conversation, Nitesh revealed which classics he would love to remake today and how challenging it is to do so in the present era.
In a discussion on the YouTube channel Game Changers, Tiwari reflected on the difficulty of remaking iconic Bollywood films in today's times. When asked which classics he would like to reimagine, he admitted, “I would like to remake Amar Akbar Anthony or Deewaar, but I don’t think I can cast for it today. Our actors wouldn’t agree. In today’s time, it is very difficult to make Amar Akbar Anthony or Deewaar.”

In the same conversation, Tiwari was given two options for his next directorial project—Mirzapur 4 and Animal Park. The filmmaker promptly chose the latter, explaining his decision. He stated that the genre would give him more creative space to experiment with Ranbir and his performance.
'Animal Park' is anticipated to be the sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 blockbuster Animal, which featured Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

'Amar Akbar Anthony' is a 1977 film directed and produced by Manmohan Desai and written by Kader Khan. It starred Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Neetu Singh, Parveen Babi, Shabana Azmi, Nirupa Roy, Pran, and Jeevan in key roles. 'Deewaar' is a crime film written by Salim–Javed and directed by Yash Chopra, with Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan playing the lead roles in the 1975 release.
Meanwhile, Ramayana continues to generate significant buzz. The epic adaptation is being helmed by Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita. The film also features Sunny Deol and Yash in pivotal roles, making it one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Indian cinema.
